W. Rod Stern, Sr. Partner
Rod received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (AB, 1977), and his law degree from Hastings College of the Law (JD, 1983). In addition, he holds a Masters in Law, specializing in taxation, from New York University (LL.M., 1989).
His practice focuses on business, corporate, transactional and tax counseling; tax collection and litigation; estate planning; and probate and conservator matters.
Rod is involved in the Tax Sections of the California Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association, and with the Orange Coast Estate Planning Council; and he is the author of two books -- Tax Planning for Business and Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts for Business Owners -- and a contributing author to the Continuing Education of the Bar publication Selecting and Forming Business Entities.
He is involved with various charitable organizations, and serves on the Board of Directors of Easter Seals of Southern California.
